These three posters are designs for the article ‘African Roots of Swiss Design’ by Audrey Bennett. The article explores how African art and design traditions have influenced Swiss design, highlighting the deep cultural exchanges and historical connections between the two. To visually reflect this, I chose to incorporate crumpled paper effects and a palette of neutral colors. The paper effects I chose represent the layered history of design influences, while the earthy tones connect to the article's focus on African aesthetics and materials. These design choices aim to honor the cultural depth and historical significance discussed in the article while creating a visually engaging poster.
