This project involved designing a single-page, folded brochure aimed at youth (ages 11-17) to teach them how to weave a buckyball molecule using African hexastrip weaving techniques. The brochure serves to promote the Hexastrip Weaving CSDT, highlighting the connection between cultural heritage and modern science to encourage diversity in STEAM fields. It includes step-by-step instructions, background information on hexastrip weaving, and visuals to facilitate learning. Through this publication, I aimed to create an interactive and educational resource appealing to youth through bright colors and imagery.
